January 3 - 8, 2010

The thirteenth anniversay Mark Yancich Timpani Class will tentatively take place January 3-8, 2010 and will share locations with both Emory University and Atlanta Symphony Hall in Atlanta, Georgia. Advanced timpanists, students and teachers are invited to apply and attend.

Mark Yancich has been the timpanist of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra since 1981
and teaches at Emory University, where he also hosts the annual Atlanta Percussion (TAP) Seminar each June. Mr. Yancich is a frequent clinician throughout the country, has received critical acclaim for his "Art of Timpani" educational video series, and can be heard on over 100 recordings on the Telarc label, including most of the great choral/orchestral repertoire with Robert Shaw conducting.

Please join Mr. Yancich in January, 2010 for 6 days of timpani instruction and collaboration.
